
Being a quilter means that you become a fabric hoarder. It's not a maybe, it's not a possibly, it's a definite fact. Because the smallest scrap of fabric can be worked into any theoretical quilt, it is absolutely painful to get rid of any trimmings. How can I callously throw away such potential??
This project is a great one to use up quilting scraps. Each coaster takes just two 5" squares of fabric and one 5" square of batting. These were a Christmas gift for my brother, and I just love how they turned out.
