Mod Colonial Baby Quilt No.25

My fourth quilt is up on Etsy. I think it's safe to say that this is my favorite quilt so far. I love the way the colors and prints go together...it makes me think of something kind of colonial, but also modern. I'm definitely stashing the rest of these fabrics to make something for myself out of them.

I had to add the stripe on the back because of messing up a cut (you can see it in the Etsy pictures), but I think it turned out really well. Just pretend I did it on purpose!

Tomboy Unicorn Baby Quilt No.24

My third quilt is up on Etsy...my stacked pattern Tomboy Unicorn baby quilt, #24 in the fox&hootie series. At first glance it might look like a pretty girly girl quilt, but if you look closely you'll see some very non-girly things like tadpoles in jars and frogs on lilypads! 

I especially like the back on this quilt. It's very bold and graphic, and it can really stand on its own.

fox&hootie on Etsy

Drumroll please...

I am very excited to announce the launch of fox&hootie, my very own line of unique, hand sewn items. They will be available in the fox&hootie Etsy store here, and [hopefully] at boutique stores in the Los Angeles area.

At the moment, fox&hootie consists of one of a kind, individually numbered baby quilts. Soon, plushies and plushy patterns will be added to the line, mostly in the online store.

Lunch on the Beach

Apologies for my absence of late. I have been busy working to launch something I have created...more on that in the next few days!

In the mean time, I finally took my beach quilt to the beach on my lunch break. The inaugural trip went very well, and it was so nice to lay on the sand and listen to the waves. Now I'm thinking of making a beach bag to take with me...
